Advocacy Fellowship recognizes and supports individuals with a demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights advocacy work within the State of Oregon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fellowship funds provide monetary support for professional development and immigrants rights advocacy work, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">training, workshops, or coaching;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">skills development in leadership, community organizing;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">continuing education or study;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">development of a new community-based organization or initiative.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Immigrant Rights and Advocacy Fellowship was established from funds managed by Seeding Justice due to the dissolution of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/causaoregon.org\/\">Causa<\/a>.&nbsp;The dissolution of Causa was a huge and disruptive loss to the Immigrant Rights Advocacy community. Our charge is to manage the distribution of assets and to steward these funds into immigrant advocacy and organizing.<\/p>\n<p><b>We have already made Immigration Rights and Advocacy Fund Grants to Vision Comunitaria, Centro de Servicios Para Campesinos, Oregon for all (Willamette Valley Law Project), and MERIT (Prosperidad). color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">Seeding Justice will prioritize individuals who:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through their immigrant rights and advocacy work they have addressed <\/span><b>root causes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of injustice and focus(ed) on <\/span><b>changing systems, or built collective power<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in their work.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are intentionally anti-racist, anti-oppression, and intersectional in their thinking, approaches and solutions;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">are <b style=\"background-color: var( --e-global-color-1051cba );
