We\u2019re excited to announce that our Grantmaking Committee has selected 19 organizations working towards justice to receive General Fund grants this fall! <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

After reading, scoring, and discussing over 70 applications, our Grantmaking Committee has awarded $250,000 to 19 amazing organizations addressing a range of issues, including developing youth leadership who are a part of the immigrant community, advocating for, compiling, and sharing healthcare resources for trans folks in Central Oregon, providing training to new farmers with a Traditional Ecological Knowledge lens, and so much more!<\/span><\/p>

In our commitment to support emerging and grassroots groups led by those most impacted by injustice, 75% of our grantee groups are led by Black, Indigenous, and people of color; 88% have annual budgets of less than $500,000; and 69% serve communities outside the Portland Metro area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Central Oregon Trans Health Coalition<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$14,925<\/span><\/td>To improve the health and wellness of transgender and non-binary Central Oregonians by identifying and consolidating culturally-competent resources, supporting provider education, and advocating for gender-inclusive policies and practices.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
CETI<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$5,000<\/span><\/td>For an inclusive path of lifelong learning and professional development, supporting a diverse and interdisciplinary community of practitioners, professionals, educators, students, and researchers to create the <\/span>future.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Community Alliance of Lane County (CALC)<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To educate and organize for racial, social and economic justice and peace.\u00a0<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Friends of Family Farmers<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>For Oregon family farmers who responsibly steward their land and feed our communities. Our vision is an Oregon food system of diverse, thriving, socially and ecologically responsible family farms.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Friends of Noise<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To transform the culture of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth access to the music industry through youth-focused programs, teaching industry skills, developing resources, mentorship and professional development.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Good Rain Farm<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$12,075<\/span><\/td>To offer an internship program that provides skills training to new farmers with a Traditional Ecological Knowledge lens.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Indigenous Peoples Power Project<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To provide nonviolent direct action training, campaign strategy and community organizing tools to support Indigenous communities taking action in defense of their homelands.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>

Latinos Unidos Siempre<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$5,000<\/span><\/td>To empower youth to take leadership roles in the community.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Micronesian Islander Community<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To organize social justice programs, preserve our cultures, and enhance leadership through unifying our diverse communities. Their vision is to respectfully lead the way to empower Micronesian and Pacific Islander communities to be successful while preserving and navigating cultural heritage.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To deepen the connection between the Wal\u00e1wa country and all those who care about it. They inspire a way of working together to caretake land, rekindle relationships and welcome people home.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Pandion Institute<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>To change, grow, and reinforce the conviction that Indigenous, land-based ways of knowing and being are critical to the construction of a livable future.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Partners for a Hunger-free Oregon<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$3,000<\/span><\/td>Hunger-Free Oregon envisions a state where everyone is healthy and thriving, and can access affordable, nourishing, and culturally appropriate food.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Portland Harbor Community Coalition<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>A collective of groups and individuals elevating the most-impacted communities, historically or currently, in the decades-long cleanup of the ten-mile Willamette River \u201cSuperfund\u201d site in what is now known as the Portland Harbor.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>A coalition of immigrant, refugee rights, and social justice organizations and their allies united to bring an end to the detention and deportation of immigrant families.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
Pueblo Unido PDX<\/a><\/strong><\/td>$15,000<\/span><\/td>Creates hope for and amplifies the voices of communities with vulnerable immigration status by connecting them to legal, social, and Indigenous language interpretation services.<\/span><\/td><\/tr>
