Mike Moran is a strategic and mission-driven fundraising executive with over 20 years of experience leading high-performing development teams and advancing transformational philanthropic initiatives. Most recently serving as Senior Director of Development at the Oregon State University Foundation (OSUF), Mike built and led the organization’s largest development team and increased annual fundraising from $3 million to over $15 million.

A trusted fundraiser and campaign architect, Mike created and led OSUF’s $500 million Student Success Initiative—raising more than $350 million to date in support of financial aid, scholarships, and student-centered programs. 

Throughout his career, Mike consistently exceeded fundraising goals, launched new programs, and provided strategic counsel to leadership in multiple sectors. He is known for his ability to cultivate trust across stakeholders, design equity-centered initiatives, and build sustainable systems for long-term fundraising growth.

He holds a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and is an experienced presenter, advisor, and mentor within the fundraising field.
