We’re excited to announce that our Grantmaking Committee has selected 29 organizations working towards justice to receive General Fund grants this summer!
After reading, scoring, and discussing 99 applications, our Grantmaking Committee has awarded $331,600 to 29 amazing organizations addressing a range of issues, including providing indigenous communities of the Klamath River basin access to ancestral waters; supporting rural LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones in resisting book banning, censorship, and discrimination; uplifting and centering BIPOC voices in civic engagement across the state, and so much more!
In our commitment to support emerging and grassroots groups led by those most impacted by injustice, 86% of our grantee groups are led by Black, Indigenous, and people of color; 65% have annual budgets of less than $300,000; and 69% serve communities outside the Portland Metro area.

Ori is prima facie, an art gallery with a curatorial and programmatic focus on Black and Indigenous, Queer and Trans artists specifically, and the art they produce. |

We envision Oregon as a multi-racial participatory democracy where all people know and can exercise their power in decisions that affect their lives. |

Formed to unify like-minded people with LGBTQ+ family and friends to not only educate and support our loved ones but to combat book banning, censorship, discrimination, and anti LGBTQ+ agendas that continue to happen within our community. Our mission is to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. |

Oregon Futures Lab Education Fund Statewide | $15,000 | Oregon Futures Lab Education Fund’s (OFL Ed Fund’s) mission is to uplift and center BIPOC voices in civic engagement by seeking, supporting and sustaining BIPOC leadership across Oregon. Our vision is to restore and reimagine the vital roles of QTPIs within our communities and ensure a world that values, nurtures, respects and celebrates QTPIs in our navigation of self-determination and empowerment. |
