Welcome, New Seeding Justice Board Members!

This summer, Seeding Justice welcomed two new activists to our Board of Directors: Monica Cho Brewer and Crystallee Crain!

Monica Cho-Brewer wears an emerald green, collared shirt.
Crystallee Crain wears a pink and black plaid shirt and horn-rimmed glasses.

Monica (left) started volunteering with Seeding Justice three years ago helping to plan our annual Justice Within Reach gala. She now chairs the JWR committee! Monica serves as Senior Director at Metropolitan Group and in her spare time is passionate about creating change in education, healthcare, and environmental justice issues.

Crystallee Crain, Ph.D. brings a connection between art and activism to Seeding Justice. The Founder & Director of Prevention at the Intersections where she publishes two open access journals, her work is dedicated to liberation with a focus on healing as a revolutionary strategy for change.

These two new board members join 10 community members who bring a wealth of experience in activism, philanthropy, and movement building. Together, we work to support Seeding Justice leaders in guiding this organization to fund movement building for liberation in Oregon.

Seeding Justice is committed to ensuring our board represents the communities we serve. While we are not actively recruiting at the moment, we are always interested in hearing from activists and changemakers working in any part of Oregon who want to contribute to ensuring Seeding Justice is a vibrant and thriving organization. Contact Board Chair Lizzie Martinez if you think you might be a good fit.

Welcome to Seeding Justice, Monica and Crystallee!

— Lizzie Martinez, Seeding Justice Board Chair
