Philanthropy can and should be different.

A different kind of philanthropy is possible.(FPO)

It should be rooted in the democratic values of accountability, transparency and participation. It should work to dismantle White Supremacy, not be a part of it. And it should center the communities most impacted, not embrace the status quo. The resources contained here, demonstrate a different kind of philanthropy is possible and call on all of us to rethink what’s possible, our role in upending narratives of scarcity, and how we support—and follow the lead of—communities in the frontlines.
